Rapid Prototyping technologies enhance innovation opportunities....
read Geoff Brennan article on

http://www.innovationtools.com/Articles/EnterpriseDetails.asp?a=396

Conclusion

In the near future, rapid prototype technology will become more widespread and pervade even to the home. For now though, for timely and expert delivery, the use of a service bureau is the best way for most innovative companies, individuals and organizations.

Hi Randah
here's another approach - do you know about 'Thinking at the Edge' - a creative thinking approach based on body-experience and a philosophy developed by Gene Gendlin? I met it last year, and found it very useful, providing you have have some kinesthetic sense of yourself. See some youtube clips fyi http://www.youtube.com/Simondo18
regards Simon

Thanks Stephen,

yes I think they are very similar... it's only that people usually associate coaching with one person and facilitation with a group. Who says we can't mix them up? we might even get more interesting results.
cheers!

I agree with the your approach. Whitmore's GROW model is nice and generic. Have you thought about the difference between workshop facilitation and group coaching? I was challenged to explain this in the study group I was in. So I decided to side step it by saying I coach leaders and facilitate workshops with their teams.

By the way, as a facilitator who was drawn into coaching, I started out with an approach I called "Facilitation for One", which served me well.
